The JLNW has been serving our community with philanthropic contributions for over 50 years.
As a non-profit organization we
bring together approximately 225 active and sustaining members who are
dedicated to improving the lives of individuals in our community.
Mary
Hughes Sakraida Award for Community Service - Recognizes outstanding youth for their service
in our community.
Holiday Sharing
Drive - Providing hundreds of needy families with holiday gifts
and meals since 1980.
Kids
in the Kitchen -
A national program promoting healthy eating, exercise and wellness.
Family
Health Day -
Established by the JLNW in coordination with Neighbors Link, an organization in
Mount Kisco that assists Hispanic immigrants.
Northern Westchester Shelter - Founded by the JLNW in 1981 offering safe haven to
victims of domestic violence.
The Teen Education
Center - At the Boys and Girls Club of Northern Westchester. Created by the JLNW for a
positive learning environment.
Northern Westchester
Hospital - Ongoing collaborative projects
providing comfort to patients and their families.
Love
Shouldn't Hurt Symposium - Educates high school students about the dangers of abusive
relationships. Started by the JLNW in 1999 and continued today by PACE University.
