2007
The The Junior League of Northern Westchester (JLNW) recently celebrated 50 years of philanthropic contributions in the community. "One person can make a difference; however, a group of well-organized women, across more than 50 years, can make a significant impact," said Christina Dochtermann, JLNW President and Katonah resident. The JLNW was founded in 1940 as the Northern Westchester Chapter of the Junior League of New York City. In 1953, it became the Junior League of Mt. Kisco. In 1968, in recognition of its broadening membership, it became the Junior League of Northern Westchester.
