The Junior League of Northern Westchester is reaching out to area women who are interested in learning more about the organization. Informational events are being held during the month of August with the first being held on Saturday, August 2nd from 2 to 4pm. Members of the League will be on-hand to present a brief overview of the benefits and requirements of membership and to answer any questions regarding enrollment, training and all that the League has to offer.
The Junior League of Northern Westchester is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The League offers networking and social activities, executive level skills training, and community voluntarism opportunities.
