The Barclays: August 19-24, 2008. This year The Barclays golf tournament will be held at Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, NJ and the JLNW is proud to announce that we will continue our affiliation with the tournament by sending volunteers to help on various committees.  This PGA tour event relies heavily on volunteers to make it a success and in turn the PGA makes a charitable donation to the JLNW based on the number of volunteers we provide.  This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a premier golf tournament and to help the JLNW at the same time.  If you, your spouse, co-workers or friends would like to volunteer on behalf of the JLNW please go to www.thebarclaysgolf.com and then click on "volunteers".  The cost for the required Volunteer Uniform Package is $50 and the JLNW will reimburse you for this fee.  Some committees fill quickly so sign up early.  Most importantly, please indicate "Junior League of Northern Westchester" on the "Affiliation" line on the application.  Pre-Tournament shifts for the uniform distribution and office start on Monday, July 21st .  We have groups of women carpooling on July 26th and August 9th if you would like to join.  Thank you for supporting the JLNW and The Barclays.  For more information contact Cristina Magidson at 914.234.7302 or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
